LRI is proud of its ability to provide the most complete, effective and diversified fire protection consulting engineering services.

LRI is a Canadian company, which was incorporated in 1986 by Fred Leber and Jonathan Rubes.

The LRI team includes technical staff with experience in commercial construction and development, standards development,  professional fire protection and building code consulting, fire protection equipment design manufacturing and testing and municipal plans examination and inspection.

LRI has offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Ontario Power Generation and the Bruce Power Plant. With experience in over 6000 projects and three areas of expertise, LRI provides many Fire and Life Safety Engineering services to over 800 clients. Those services include, but are not limited to Fire Protection System Design, Fire Protection System Commissioning, Fire Safety Plans and Training, Life Safety/Code Consulting, Life Safety Studies, Building Fire Safety Audits (Due Diligence), Pedestrian Movement Studies.

LRI is a proud participant in a number of technical committees including the following:
