A Pre-Fire Plan identifies a building's physical elements, their design and installation, site considerations, occupant hazards, and hazards to fire fighters that could be expected to influence emergency response and incident management. Pre-Fire Plans are formatted to provide emergency responders with the ability to quickly reference the specific information they require to assist them in their approach to an incident.

LRI will conduct a comprehensive audit of the building, review documentation (specifications, operating manuals, inspection records, etc.), and consult with building staff in order to prepare the Pre-Fire Plan. In addition to text, the Plan will be comprised of highly detailed colour floor plan drawings and schematics. Each page of the Plan will be laminated and 3-hold punched for insertion into a binder.
