  Maintenance Logbooks

Canadian fire codes require that various maintenance tasks be performed at prescribed intervals on fire protection and life safety equipment, and that records of such maintenance be kept on site for specific periods of time.

LRI will prepare a Maintenance Logbook tailored to the characteristics of a particular facility. The Logbook will consist of a Users' Manual & Guide, and a Maintenance Record. The Manual & Guide is designed to provide an objective-based perspective on the prescriptive maintenance procedures associated with fire protection and life safety equipment in general. The Guide identifies the objective of each maintenance task, and procedures to achieve the objective. The Maintenance Record provides the means to record the required maintenance activities.
