Senior Designer

This position is in our Systems Engineering Group. You will:

• Review design and construction drawings.
• Prepare design documents for fire protection system retrofit in complex buildings.
• Conduct building inspections and audits.
• Meet with clients and authorities.
• Develop and maintain client relations.
• Provide independent project management.

You will have:

• Excellent knowledge of relevant parts of the Ontario Building Code Parts 3 and 11, the National Building Code of Canada and significant experience with their application to fire protection systems design. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Substantial experience in the building design and construction industry, with emphasis on application engineering and Code compliance on complex projects. 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• P.E.O. recognition or equivalent qualification

Senior Code Consultant

This position is in our Code Engineering group. You will:

• Review design and construction drawings.
• Prepare reports related to Building Code application, compliance and equivalence for complex projects.
• Conduct building inspections and audits.
• Meet with clients and authorities.
• Develop and maintain client relations.
• Provide independent project management.

You will have:

• Excellent knowledge of the Ontario Building Code Parts 3 and 11, the National Building Code of Canada and significant experience with other international codes. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Substantial experience in the building design and construction industry, with emphasis on code application and compliance on complex projects. 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
