LRI (Leber | Rubes Inc.) was established in 1986 by Jonathan Rubes and Fred Leber. Offices are located in Toronto and Ottawa.

LRI Team member backgrounds include fire protection and building code consulting, standards development, municipal plans examination and inspection, fire protection equipment audit and design, construction management, commissioning, research and development and manufacturing. LRI supports continuing education for all team members, and encourages continued growth through association participation.

LRI employees have extensive dealings with regulatory authorities and are active on many Codes and Standards committees as well as industry associations.
